QUESTIONS

What about your rates and packages?
We charge by the hour. There is minimum number of three hours and six hours (for weekends) that you have to book for. So if you need photography for lesser than three hours, please do email in and check for a customized package. We have three tiers of photographers (Junior, Senior and Lead) and price is different for each tier. Do drop us an email for details.

 

Can we break the package up into smaller portions on the wedding day?
The AD Xclusive package can be broken up into 2 parts (eg. morning wedding gatecrash & tea ceremonies, followed by a break. We will leave, and join you back at the banquet in the evening). Coverage starts when we reach the venue and ends when we leave, travelling and/or idle time within that duration counts into the service hours as well. Additionally, AD Xclusive package allows you to over-run for up to 2 hours without surcharge where after which our photographers’ prevailing hourly rate applies.

 

What about split-day weddings? Any surcharge?
We have a surcharge of $400 for split day weddings. Speak to us to customize your package with us if you are having a split day wedding.

 

Do you offer albums?
We do offer albums but not part of the package. Do drop us an email for details.

 

Do you offer videography too?
We do photography only, but we can recommend a few great videographers if you need one too.

 

Do you work well with videographers?
We work well with all experienced professional videographers. We can also recommend a few that we work extremely well with.

 

Are you able to produce Express Highlights slideshow for our wedding lunch or dinner?
We can provide Express Highlights slideshow for dinner only and if production time has a minimum of 5 hours uninterrupted break. This service is chargeable at $500.

 

Can you pass us a few unedited images first so that we can make our own slideshow for the wedding banquet?
We do not provide unedited images and we shoot in RAW that would require a photo editing software to open them.

 

How will the photos be delivered?
For all packages, photos are given in our custom-made USB thumbdrive with selected prints in our keepsake box. For shorter shoots (less than three hours), you will receive the photos via our cloud online gallery. All photos will be given in high-resolution Jpegs, of at least 3800 pixels on the long side, good enough even for poster-size enlargements.

 

How many images can we expect to receive?
For a typical ten (10) hours’ coverage, you should receive about 500 - 600+ images. Actual quantity also depends on how the day will be unfolding. eg. a wedding with morning gatecrash will surely produce more photos than one without.

 

Do you shoot alone or do you have an assistant/2nd photographer?
Our photographers shoot alone at most jobs. All photos on our websites are of weddings/events covered by individual of them in one-photographer situations unless otherwise stated in the individual album. Request of an assistant / 2nd photographer can be raised and will be billed accordingly.

 

When can we expect to receive the photos after the wedding?
Photos will be ready 10-12 weeks after the wedding. Due to the volume of photo shoots we do, it is highly unlikely that your photos will be ready earlier than that timeframe. During the peak season, production time will increase to 12-18 weeks after the wedding.

 

Will all the photos we receive be edited? Will we get the unedited/RAW files too?
Every photo given is color-corrected and aligned/cropped as required. However, unedited or raw files will not be given, nor be made available for sale separately.

 

Do we need to meet up before booking and/or before the wedding?
No meet-up is required before you book. All of our works/portfolio are available online for your viewing. If you need any clarification or discussion, we would love to give you a friendly phone call. 1-2 weeks before your wedding day, we will contact you and ask for your wedding itinerary.

 

How do I go about booking your services? What is the payment like?
So you have decided and would love to have one of us to cover your big day, our admin team will email you an e-invoice and e-agreement. The total amount and modes of payment will be indicated in the e-invoice and a $500 or 50% non-refundable deposit (whichever is lower) will be required to complete the confirmation. Issuance of the invoice does not mean the date is “soft-booked”, the date is still open and available to other enquirers. Booking is deemed complete, and the date blocked for you, only when the deposit is received and acknowledged. The balance amount will be due three (3) days before the wedding/event day. Additional charges incurred during the weeding day will be billed and payment to be made within seven (7) days from date of wedding/event day.

 

Thanks for emailing us your price guide and everything looks good, however if you receive other enquiries for the same wedding date could we get updated please?
Due to the large number of queries we receive via different channels (email, Facebook, Instagram, phone calls, etc.) we are not able to monitor every date enquired for.

 

Do we have to provide meals for you at the wedding/event?
We do not require a meal if it is a short event, eg. photographing just the lunch or dinner banquet. However, should you need our photographers for more than six hours continuously (eg. a lunch wedding that begins in the morning and stretches until 3pm), we would appreciate that a simple meal and reasonable meal time to be provided.
